Founded in Hong Kong in 2021 as Muni Savon, MUNI ATELIER began with a simple idea: Make Unique Savon.

Now based in Vancouver, the atelier explores the philosophy of Materia & Unique through handcrafted soaps and sculptural objects inspired by raw textures, quiet forms, and everyday rituals.

MUNI comes from the Japanese word “無二,” meaning one of a kind — reflecting our belief that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Each piece is individually crafted in small batches, embracing subtle variations as part of its natural character.

Rather than excess, we value calmness.
Rather than perfection, we value presence.

About the Maker

Hi, I'm Charlene, founder and maker of MUNI ATELIER.

My journey into soap making began in late 2020 through curiosity, experimentation, and a love for working with raw materials.

Over time, a quiet visual language naturally emerged — marble-like textures, fluid movement, soft contrasts, and sculptural forms inspired by the beauty found in everyday objects.

Today, every piece is individually handcrafted in my Vancouver studio with the hope of bringing a small moment of calm into everyday life.
