1. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with MUNI ATELIER, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

2. Orders & Accuracy

All orders are considered final once placed.

Please review all order details carefully before checkout, including shipping information, product selection, and quantity.

MUNI ATELIER is not responsible for delays, losses, or issues caused by incorrect information or payment discrepancies.

3. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our handcrafted personal care products, all items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Each piece is carefully inspected before dispatch. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.

Examples of defects may include:

  • Significant damage not caused during transit
  • Structural cracks affecting usability
  • Product contamination

The following are not considered defects:

  • Natural variations in texture, colour, or pattern
  • Minor marks caused during the handmade process
  • Differences due to lighting or screen display
  • Minor compression or cosmetic changes during shipping

All requests are reviewed individually. MUNI ATELIER reserves the right to make the final decision.

4. Shipping

All orders are carefully packaged for transit.

Once shipped, responsibility is transferred to the carrier. MUNI ATELIER is not liable for shipping delays, loss, or damage caused during transit.

Local pick-up in Richmond, BC may be available upon request.

5. Product Nature & Care

Handcrafted Objects

Each MUNI ATELIER piece is individually handcrafted. Variations in form, texture, and tone are part of the natural character of the work.

Handmade Soap

Natural curing may result in slight shrinkage or surface variation over time.

We use essential oils and natural materials; scent intensity may evolve gradually.

Please perform a patch test before use. MUNI ATELIER is not responsible for skin reactions or sensitivities.

Scented Candles

Our candles are made using different wax blends depending on the design and purpose of each piece.

Minor frosting, sweating, surface cracking, or wet spots may naturally occur due to temperature and environmental conditions, and do not affect overall performance.

Candle Safety

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time

MUNI ATELIER is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper candle use.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, imagery, branding, and design — is the property of MUNI ATELIER.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
